latewaves
latewaves is a rock band from Asbury Park, NJ consisting of Mikey Pellegrino (vocals, guitar) Howie Cohen (bass, vocals) and Shawna Grabowski (drums). Formed in the fall of 2016 by Pellegrino and Grabowski, the first six months were the incubating period for their debut record ",Partied Out." Drawing off influences from the quirky minor and 7th chords of 90's alt rock, and calling the angst and aggression of the early 2000's post hardcore/dawning of the emo scene; the group found their sound in the echoes of the past but brought a modern twist.
